Dermal Fibroblasts

Fibroblast cell culture models are often used to assess the ability of test materials to exert an effect on MMP-1 activity, and procollagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and fibronectin synthesis.  These components are released from the fibroblasts and can be recovered and measured from the cell culture media.  Many natural factors can influence the release of these components including aging and UV exposure.  We also have data on our dermal fibroblasts when they are cultured under reduced oxygen conditions.
